Pull out the max from your Graphics Card

Published by nimsrules at 8:23 pm under Tips & Tricks Edit This

Okay guys gaming has taken toll on everyone these days . Games like

Crysis

Call of Duty World at War

And the most exhilerating and High End game

Grand Theft Auto 4

are all so Graphics demanding that out old Nvidia & or 8 series can hardly match up with their requirements. I mean look at the upper pic and decide the level of perfection those freaky game designers have brought in the making. I heard my cousin Harsh say that GTA 4 consumes so much of your processor that even having a Geforce 9400 gets your system feel like an oven. So there are only two options that you can follow to make sure you play these beauties . Either buy a new GPU or extract the full juice of it.

NX8600

Yeah I found an interesting and lucrative method of how can you pull out the maximum of your Graphics Card which might help you play the HD games better.

- Okay first of all visit THIS  website to download the ATI Tool. It olny sizes around 1.5 MB. Now before I move further rest assured don’t go by its name it works for all the GPUs . NVidias and Intels too.

- After you install the ATI tool you shall a screen like displayed below. It mentions my clock speed to be600 and 900 MHz for core and memory respectively. The figures down 58 and 42C are my GPU temp and GPU ambient Temperatures.

- Now increase the clock speed by 25MHz and click on Scan for artifacts , let the tool run for 5 minutes. If you don’t see any of them increase the clock speed more by 10MHZ and again hit Scan for artifacts. If you see them then decrease the clock speed by 5MHz.

- Clik on New and save the current profiel with a desired name.

- The job is done. This overclocking done will remain intact only till you restart your PC. The default settings shall be overwriten once it does. After you restart just make sure to get the settings as below.

So now open any game of your in which you were getting low frame rates and enjoy the new gaming experience.

PLEASE : Never ever use Find max core and Find Max memory buttons , it shall damage your GPU seriously.

I hope you all find this tutorial useful. Thank you.
